About Me

My name is Jennifer Keogh. I am a follower of Christ. I live in Seattle, WA with my husband and the family that God has sewn together: our best friends who are foster parents and their children.

I love linguistics, cooking, running, and writing. This little corner of the internet is an outlet for my writings.

I received a bachelors of arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and a masters of arts in linguistics from the University of North Dakota through the Summer Institute of Linguistics in 2013. My most recent steady income came from teaching English to adult refugees in Seattle. I also was recently published in Christ and Pop Culture.

I most often write personal essays on life, faith, culture, and nature. I also enjoy writing biblical exposition, bible studies, and sometimes poetry.
